VIRTUAL EVENT | Conflict in the Holy Land: Israel and Hamas at War

Overview: The horrific terrorist attack by Hamas on Saturday, October 7th has triggered a new wave of violence across the Holy Land as Israel has responded declaring war on Hamas. Already the consequences have been devastating, with death tolls climbing across Israel and in Gaza. As the conflict escalates, there is grave risk of further loss of civilian lives and mass displacement.

To consider the causes, impact, and future of the conflict, this conversation will engage noted Palestinian journalist Daoud Kuttab; and Nazareth-based lawyer, author, school administrator, and church leader, Botrus Mansour. Jeremy Barker, Director of RFI’s Middle East Action Team will moderate the discussion.
