Gracie Allen

Gracie Allen was an RFI intern in the fall of 2021 while attending the University of Dallas with a major in Political Philosophy.  RFI appealed to me not only because religious freedom itself is such an urgent priority in our modern world, but because of the organization’s emphasis on education as a viable solution.  I am a spirited advocate for the work RFI is doing and was thrilled to have been selected as an intern.”

Since Gracie completed her internship remotely, some of her most fruitful experiences at RFI were at the weekly intern meetings where RFI staff and guest speakers would sequentially lead the interns through a variety of religious freedom topics.  “I remember being entirely caught up in the wisdom and perspectives these men and women shared with us,” says Gracie.

“My internship with the RFI helped foster my awareness of the great need to rethink our approach to education in this country. From this I developed a profound longing to work in education, especially in the field of theology.”  After completing her internship with RFI, Gracie worked with Sophia Institute Press, a Catholic publishing company based in New Hampshire and is now pursuing a position as a member of the Thomas More Fellowship in the archdiocese of Boston.
