Nolan Rodriguez

Nolan Rodriguez joined RFI’s team of interns in the fall of 2021. As a double major in Political Science and Philosophy at Baylor University, Nolan knew he wanted to intern in D.C, but didn’t have a specific organization he was interested in. “I wanted to be around people that care about other people and genuinely care about the work they’re doing.” Upon hearing this desire, it was the late Judge Ken Starr who suggested Nolan investigate RFI. During his internship, Nolan worked with Eric Patterson to gather information on U.S. policy towards Nigeria and helped research religiously-motivated genocides around the world.

In the fall of 2023, Nolan continued his studies at Notre Dame Law School. “My time at RFI has genuinely shaped the way that I look at the world around me,” Rodriquez says. “One of the more beautiful things I learned at RFI, was that religious freedom is an everybody thing, they just don’t know it yet.”
