RFI’s Miles Windsor Appointed to Serve as Strategic Advisor to Czech Republic’s Freedom of Religion or Belief Ambassador

RFI’s Miles Windsor has been appointed to serve part-time in the role of Strategic Advisor to Ambassador Robert Řehák in the Czech Republic’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs. 

Řehák is the Ambassador for the Czech Republic on Freedom of Religion or Belief, Special Envoy for Holocaust Issues, and Interfaith Dialogue. He is also the Chair of the International Freedom of Religion and Belief Alliance (IRFBA), commonly referred to as the Article 18 Alliance, which is a 43-nation coalition of senior-level government representatives with a mandate to promote religious freedom and protect members of religious minority groups worldwide.

Director of RFI’s Strategic Campaigns, Windsor will be drawing on his experience and expertise from 15 years of campaigning on religious freedom to provide high-level advice and support to Ambassador Řehák as he works to confront persecution and advance religious freedom for everyone, everywhere.

Yesterday, as part of his new role, Windsor presented to The International Panel of Parliamentarians for Freedom of Religion or Belief (IPPFoRB) and German Members of Parliament at the Bundestag.

Speaking on behalf of Ambassador Řehák, Windsor discussed emerging challenges of Artificial Intelligence for religious freedom, which is a major theme of this week’s International Ministerial Conference on Freedom of Religion or Belief convened in Berlin.
