STATESMANSHIP AND RELIGIOUS FREEDOM PROGRAM: Switzerland

SEMINAR DESCRIPTION
The Statesmanship and Religious Freedom (SaRF) Series expands this year to Vevey, Switzerland for the inaugural SaRF Switzerland. This high-impact program is jointly sponsored by RFI’s National Center for Religious Freedom Education and Pepperdine University (USA) with participants coming from partnering European and U.S. universities. The program schedule includes interactive lectures with religious freedom scholars and government officials, reflective sessions on the grounds of the beautiful Château d'Hauteville, and visits to prominent sites in the nearby cities of Lausanne and Geneva. Students from European and US universities are encouraged to apply early, with priority consideration given to those that apply by May 2, 2025. Students selected to participate in the program are responsible for their transportation to Vevey, Switzerland but all other expenses – including meals, lodging, and program activities – are provided at no cost to the student through a program scholarship.
ESSENTIAL ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
- I will be 20 years old by 2 May 2025
- I am currently enrolled in a European or U.S. university
- I agree to approach the program as a learner
- I am able to self-fund my travel to and from Vevey, Switzerland
- I plan to attend all sessions each day of the program
