Anna Bryner


Anna holds a J.D. (2024) and B.A. (2021) from Brigham Young University. She was a legal research assistant at RFI in the fall of 2023, where she wrote a report on the religious freedom implications of proposed legislation in the Congress and kept tabs on religious freedom litigation.

During her undergrad years, Anna worked as a communications specialist for the International Center for Law and Religion Studies at BYU Law School. As a law student, she worked on religious freedom litigation during her summers at the Becket Fund for Religious Liberty and Schaerr|Jaffe LLP. As an undergrad she co-founded BYU's Freedom of Religion or Belief Club and later implemented the organization at BYU Law School. She also served as a research assistant for a law professor, with whom she co-authored a paper on the implications of defining religion broadly in legal contexts. She also worked as a research assistant for the International Center for Law and Religion Studies during law school.
