Vandana Menon, journalist at ThePrint, recently interviewed RFI Senior Fellow Farahnaz Ispahani on her new book, The Politics of Hate: Religious Majoritarianism in South Asia. The book is a collection of 11 essays edited by Ispahani, who is also a global fellow at the Woodrow Wilson Center and a Steering Group Member of the International Parliamentarians Panel for Freedom of Religion or Belief.
In this edited volume, Ispahani leads readers through a critical exploration of the rise of religious intolerance in South Asia, focusing on developments in Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka.
