April 21, 2023, Washington D.C. – The Religious Freedom Institute (RFI) is pleased to announce Reghan Buie as its Events and Office Coordinator. Reghan served as an RFI research assistant in 2022, working closely with RFI President Eric Patterson.
“Reghan shined as a research assistant and continues to be a tremendous asset to our team,” said Patterson. “Reghan has a deep passion for religious freedom, and brings enthusiasm and energy to all that she does. Her addition as a full-time staff member will strengthen RFI’s operations and our efforts to advance religious freedom for everyone, everywhere.”
Prior to joining the RFI team, Buie served as the Social Media Manager for the Journal of Politics and Religion and interned for Sen. Rob Portman (OH) and Rep. Brad Wenstrup (OH-02). She holds a B.A. in English and Political Science from the University of Cincinnati, where she graduated summa cum laude with honors from the Pi Sigma Alpha National Political Science Honor Society and the Phi Beta Kappa Society.
